We are a proud member of 1% for the Planet, the global network of businesses supporting non-profit environmental organizations that are actively focused on addressing the most critical environmental challenges of our time.
As part of our membership of 1% for the Planet, we have committed to contribute at least 1% of our annual sales to environmental causes that we believe in and in 2025 we are partnering with the Woodland Trust, the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity.
1% for the Planet was created in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard and today its corporate membership numbers nearly 5000 businesses in more than 100 countries. We joined the movement because we deeply believe in the idea that collective action has greater transformative potential to help create a better future for the planet and future generations.
Woodland Trust
To support the resurgence of nature in our country, we’re proudly partnering with the Woodland Trust – the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity. The Woodland Trust was established in 1972 and currently protects and looks after 30,000 hectares of British woodland and nearly 1,200 sites, many of which are ancient and have developed irreplaceable and complex ecosystems. The correct management of these beautiful green places enables nature and plants to thrive and provides precious havens for wildlife which is absolutely vital in the face of the current biodiversity crisis.
The Woodland Trust also champions British trees, which serve as essential, powerful weapons in the fight against climate change as they able to absorb harmful carbon dioxide from the air. They plant millions of native trees every year and have planted a staggering 68.5 million since their inception over 50 years ago!
